Commendatore Robert V. Allegrini OMRI is a hospitality and tourism professional with more than 30 years of experience and expertise in Italy. A former Vice President of Hilton Hotels, Robert is also a past President of the Italian American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of the National Italian American Foundation and is an active member of the Society of American Travel Writers. He is the author of the book, Chicago’s Grand Hotels. Robert’s service to Italy was recognized in 2002 when he was made a Knight Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic (Italy’s highest civilian honor) by the President of Italy Carlo Azeglio Ciampi.

With more than two decades of experience in the hospitality & tourism industry with Hilton Worldwide, Simonetti has promoted and personalized travel and events for the business, leisure, government and entertainment industries. In her native Chicago, Illinois, Simonetti has represented legendary hotels including The Drake, Hilton Chicago, and Palmer House and luxury hotels including the Waldorf Astoria and Conrad. She also served as Director of Public Relations at the legendary Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
